At Layers we truly believe that the job of the accountant has evolved and has to continue to evolve as technology advances. Gone are the days of manually reconciling large amounts of bank statements.
For us this works, because we never got into accounting for just the love of numbers, but more what the numbers would tell us and how we can use them to help business owners achieve their goals and dreams.

We have a host of talent within our accounting team based in Cheltenham.
A qualified accountant with over 10 years of experience. Experience dealing with multi-national companies, dealing with accounts preparation for audited and non-audited companies, and digital transformation projects both internally and externally. Qualified with the ACCA.

8 and half years of experience ranging from working in a top 10 global accountancy firm to a smaller local firm before deciding to form Layers. Previous experience in
large-scale audits and internal booking for multinational firms.

Courteney brings a mix of operations experience and creative skills in branding and design. Her fresh approach helps us improve the way we work internally while adding creativity. A lifelong musician, she brings the same energy into her work.

10 years of experience working within the accounting space including internal bookkeeping, financial statements and Management accounts. Currently sitting final exams for her Chartered accountant certificate. Sophie has experience producing management accounts for entities across three jurisdictions.

Jake has 6 years of experience working within the accounting space and currently studying to complete his Chartered accountancy exams. Jacob previously worked on the bookkeeping and annual accounts for a global cryptocurrency company spread across 5 different jurisdictions and assisted with the audit.
